Medieval Bruges

With its network of canals Bruges is known as the Venice of the north, making Bruges a popular place to visit all year round. The festive season in Bruges includes Belgium's oldest Christmas Markets and Ice Rink.

The Christmas stalls can be found on both the Market Square and on Simon Stevinplein by the Ice Rink.

As well as the he cosy Christmas atmosphere there's the horse drawn carriages, a multitude of shops selling fine Belgian chocolates, coffee shops, bars and restaurants.

A visit to Bruges wouldn't be complete without a guided boat tour or a horse drawn carriage around this beautiful Medieval city.

Christmas Markets

Browse the 130 wooden stalls selling artisan crafts and gifts amid the aroma of mulled wine, traditional sausages and freshly made crepes and waffles.

Bars, restaurants, shops and an ice rink flanked by Christmas trees offer fun for all the family, while Santa's Grotto keeps the little ones entertained.

Stalls can found on the Market Square and on Simon Stevinplein surrounding the Ice Rink. The cosy atmosphere at the Christmas market in Bruges makes this Christmas Market one of the most vibrant markets of the country.

Depart your chosen pick up point and travel to the port of Dover where we have a short break before boarding our ferry to France. Once aboard the ferry you have plenty of time to explore the bars, restaurants and shops. After a 90 minute drive from Calais/Dunkirk we arrive in Bruges where the rest of the day you're free to explore the Christmas markets, shops, bars & restaurants.

If donning a pair of ice skates isn't your idea of fun then maybe take a tour on a horse drawn carriage or one of the many canal boats with English commentary.

The sights, sounds and smells of over 130 Christmas markets should keep you busy until 5.30pm when it's time to make your way back to the coach park and say goodbye to Bruges as we drive back to the channel port and sail back to Blighty.

Arrival back in Dover should be approx 21.00 before retracing your steps back to your drop off points. All times are estimated and cannot be guaranteed.

Price includes: Return coach travel, Return cross channel ferry crossings, Allocated seats ensuring all your family & friends are sat together.
