BRUGES CHRISTMAS MARKET DAY TRIP

Escape to the enchanting city of Bruges for festive cheer & medieval charm

Itinerary​

​

  • Begin your adventure from your chosen pick-up point and travel to the Port of Dover. Here, we'll have a short break before boarding our Ferry to France.  After a 90-minute drive from Calais, we'll arrive in the medieval city of Bruges.

Return Journey​

​

  • At 5:30 pm, we'll bid farewell to Bruges and make our way back to the channel port, returning to the familiar shores of Blighty.  Don't forget to stock up on your duty-free goodies just in time for Christmas!​

  • Our estimated arrival back in England is approximately 21:15 hours, then retracing the route back to your drop-off points.

  • Explore fairytale Markt, travel to the top of the Belfry of Bruges for an amazing panorama, visit the Basilica of the Holy Blood.

  • Ice Rink:  Picture yourself gliding across the ice rink surrounded by festive cheer.

  • Horse-Drawn Carriages: Take a romantic ride through the cobbled streets, feeling like you have stepped back in time.

  • English Guided Boat Tour: Discover the hidden gems of Bruges from its charming canals.

  • Shopping:  Great shops; sample exquisite Belgium chocolates, perfect for gifts or a personal treat.  Stock up on Belgium beers.

Food for thought! Many of our regulars who travel to Bruges Christmas Markets with us year after year choose to travel on a Sundays as it's a considerably quieter than Saturdays and more relaxing!

“We went on a day trip to Brugge for the Christmas Market and even though the weather wasn't on our side (Storm Darragh) with the heavy rain and winds our 2 drivers  got us there and back safely. The office was very helpful and nothing was to much trouble. Thanks again !”
